You can give this simple speech Republic Day

city : mumbai

The entire country will celebrate Republic Day on 26 January. Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is the chief guest in the parade to be held on India's 71st Republic Day. On the Rajpath of the national capital Delhi, the cultural diversity of the country will be seen in unity, integrity and military strength. Programs are held in various schools, colleges and government offices on the occasion of Republic Day. Apart from Dhwajarohan, essay writing and speech competitions are also held in many schools. If you are also planning to give a speech on this occasion, then you can take help of the speech written below.

Respected Chief Guest, my teachers and my colleagues…

Today, India is celebrating its 71st Republic Day. 26 January has been declared a national holiday. First of all I want to tell you why Republic Day is celebrated. Actually on this day, our country got its constitution. The Constitution of India was enacted on 26 January 1950 at 10:18 am. After the constitution came into force, our country India became a republic. 6 minutes after this Rajendra Prasad was sworn in as the first President of India at 10.24 am. On this day, for the first time as President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad left the Rashtrapati Bhavan sitting on the buggy.

It is the constitution that keeps people of all castes and classes in India interlinked. The Constitution of India is the largest written constitution in the world. It was ready in 2 years, 11 months and 18 days.

The day of January 26 was chosen to implement the constitution, because in 1930, on the same day in the Congress session, complete Swaraj was declared to India.

A grand Republic Day celebration is organized on Rajpath on the occasion of Republic Day. The President hoists the tricolor flag. He is given a 21-gun salute along with the national anthem and hoisting of the flag. Important honors like Ashoka Chakra and Kirti Chakra are given. The tableaux on the Rajpath reflect the unity of India's diversity. The parade consists of contingents of India's three armies - the Navy, the Army and the Air Force and shows the strength of the army.

It is not that this national festival ends with the flag hoisting of the President on 26 January and the conclusion of parades and tableaux etc. The Republic Day celebration concludes with a 'beating retreat' ceremony on 29 January.

Even after so many years of getting independence and the implementation of the Constitution, today India is fighting with problems like crime, corruption, violence, Naxalism, terrorism, poverty, unemployment, illiteracy. All of us should try to eliminate these problems together. The dream of freedom fighters will not be fulfilled until India gets out of this problem. Striving unitedly will create a better and developed India.

With this I would like to conclude my speech.
